Is it religious? Mindfulness is not religious, although many spiritual traditions have elements of mindful meditation.
Does it work? The short answer is "yes." We encourage you to read the resources on our Articles page for further information on how mindfulness can effectively impact your life.
Is it therapy? Learning mindfulness skills is not therapy, but can be very effective combined with your individual therapy.
Do I have to come to every session? Consistent practice is most effective in developing the skills to help you during this transition. While we understand you may have other obligations, we encourage you to make this a priority. Please call us if you can't attend a session.
Can both parents attend? Both mothers and fathers can benefit from this course. If you are recently separated or divorced, please contact us to determine whether it is appropriate for both of you to attend together.
